Mary, Mother of our Lord.

How is Mary referred to in Luke 1:28? From the account in Luke 1:26–56, make a list of Mary’s qualities that you think distinguish her as one who would be “favoured” by God with the special mission of being the mother of the mortal Messiah. Write a paragraph about one of Mary’s qualities you want to develop more fully and what difference it would make in your life.




 Mary is addressed by the angel saying the following "thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee"
Mary's Qualities

1. In verses 35-38 Mary shows great faith by just accepting and believing on the angels word. 
2. In verses 46 and 47 she demonstrates humility and great joy in our Lord and God.

The quality that I would most like to develop that Mary had would be her Faith in the things not seen. If I could have her kind of faith I would be able to better magnify my calling in church. I would also better know the will of my Father in heaven. Because I would have a greater abundance of the spirit with me. I would be a better leader of my family. I would better be able to live the commandments and be an example for those that are not following the commandments.
